Who should attend?

This workshop is ideal for 'people' photographers wanting to expand their creative abilities using both natural light and remote flash on location.  A full-on day of capturing and creating some wonderful images followed by a tutorial in Adobe Lightroom.

Shooting Portraits

Based out on location around the Aldeburgh area, Tony guides you through a workshop aimed to help the digital SLR user take their camera skills to the next level.  We will use a model to help illustrate all your new found techniques and will concentrate on both 'edgy' urban style portraits and the more relaxed, natural portraits.  If you like our 'beach portrait' style, we will endeavour to teach you our secrets so you have the skills and knowledge to take beautiful images yourself.

Lightroom Tutorial

Back at the studio in the afternoon we will be using the amazing Adobe Lightroom software to guide you through the switch from jpeg to RAW shooting. Sit back in comfort and be inspired as Tony takes you through his proven workflow, while transforming the day's pictures.  A high-resolution projector will be used to demonstrate this.
The final stage of the day is to export the finished pictures ready for printing, e-mail and a fantastic slideshow. This workshop is equally suited to both Mac and PC users.

The End Result

You will go away with a wonderful set of pictures on DVD taken on your camera and the knowledge and skill to recreate them with confidence.
