Who should attend?

If you would like to concentrate on your camera skills for a whole day covering landscape, wildlife and portrait photography then this is the workshop for you. The entire day will be spent out on location (apart from lunch and coffee breaks!).

A hands-on practical day spent around the Aldeburgh area, capturing and creating some wonderful images.  This workshop is for those young or old photographers who want to learn the technical aspects of their camera. Lets forget Automatic mode and learn how to be creative with your camera. We will be covering composition, apertures, shutter speeds, ISO and lens properties.

The workshop can be tailored to every ability from beginners through to more advanced photographers. The workshop will be bespoke to your own requirements and will be at your pace concentrating on the things that you really want to learn.

Landscapes and Wildlife

The emphasis on the morning session will be on landscape and wildlife, Tony will teach you the magic of ND graduated filters, reading the light and many other really useful tips for maximising your camera skills. Part of the morning will be an insight into macro photography focusing on flora and fauna.

Shooting Portraits

The afternoon will be spent with a model teaching the practicalities of portrait photography.  We will cover both 'edgy' urban style portraits and the more relaxed, natural portraits.  If you like our 'beach portrait' style, we will endeavour to teach you our secrets using both natural light and off camera flash so you have the skills and knowledge to take beautiful images yourself.

The End Result

You will go away with a wonderful set of pictures in your camera and the knowledge and skill to recreate them with confidence. Your passion for photography will be reignited!
